Hello again

Wowee I have not posted for quite a while. I always have such a hard time keeping up with blogging! Well, a few updates:

Jack is now almost a year old, and is such a handsome boy! And yes I talk about him as if he were a human baby. He has caused us quite a bit of frustration and ruined a LOT of expensive things (including my most expensive pair of shoes). He has made a lot of potties in the house, and chewed some molding in our brand new apartment (oh yea, we moved! but I’ll get to that later). BUT despite all of that, he is such a cute little guy and I love him so much! I always grew up with pets, but for some reason I have such a stronger love for Jack than I have ever had with my pets. I didn’t think I could love a four-legged stinky little animal so much. But I do!

As far as this “diet” I seemed to have blogged about, that crashed quite a while ago (insert ashamed face here). Josh is still down a belt loop or two but unfortunately I gained my few pounds back. I am really wanting to start back up again though. We have been going to the gym a few times now that we have one at our new apartment. I have also started making the smallest changes like buying fat free crackers, and low calorie bread. And TRYING to limit my coca cola intake. We have also been trying to take Jack on walks every day which is good for him and for us. So hopefully we can get back on that horse!

For those of you that haven’t heard, even though I think everyone has, we did move into a new apartment in June. It is much nicer than where we were and I feel a lot safer here. It is also closer to the church which cut Josh’s commute from 20 minutes to 5. We love it here and it feels like home.

Our new place is also a lot closer to the job I have acquired since my last post. I got a job as a nanny for a new family with 2 girls and 1 boy. The kids have been pretty great, and KB (the little boy) is about 1 and a half and is already picking up little words and things from me which just melts my heart! I have only been working part time, but it helps with starting school again this semester since I have a lot of homework. So between work, school, and Jack I have been keeping pretty busy.
